Chando currently lives within New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College before becoming an actress. Chando played the character Maddie Coleman in the TV soap drama As The World Turns from 2005-2007 and for a couple of months from late 2009 onwards her character was reprised. Alexandra began her career in acting in the TV series House Blend in which she played Jenna Harper. She played Maddie Coleman in the CBS soap As the World Turns for three seasons.
