Antonella Barba
The artist was born on 26 November 1996 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. The father of the singer, Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. The year 2006 was the time when the couple moved with their family to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she got her formal education within New Jersey. Her education continued in Catholic University where she earned an undergraduate degree in architecture. Additionally, she began playing the violin from age four, and was called Violin Girl. Due to her performance the violinist was referred to by that name. She also taught violin to the neighborhood children. Later at the age of 19 she was a contestant on the 6th season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. But she was eliminated following reaching 16th position on the show. She sang several songs such as 'The Christmas Song as well as "Out for Blood" in 2010, to name a few. She has also appeared on some TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba rose to stardom singing in the United States in the sixth season of American Idol. After being eliminated after achieving the top 16 positions on the show the show, she decided to test her hand at it on the stage. So, she has appeared in small roles in a few films and appeared as a participant on Fear Factor during the 2012 season. According to Daily Mail reports on November 21st of 2019, she was sentenced to nearly four years in prison for collaborating to sell fentanyl. In July she pleaded guilty to being in possession of the equivalent of 400 grams or more fentanyl and intending to sell the drug. But she was detained while for attempting to transport nearly two pounds of the drug to a storehouse located in Virginia during October of 2018.
